An upper die timing cam 58 is rotated and driven, this driving force is transmitted to an upper die drive 54 through a second upper die drive cam-follower 57, upper die vertical motion lever 56 and first upper die driving cam-follower 55 to lower an upper die 52, a punch 51 of the upper die 52 is also lowered at the same time to insert a die 42 of a lower die 41, thereby dividing the hoop 13 into chips of electronic components 14 and mounting them at specified positions on a turning kicker 71 and the chips of electronic components 14 are taken out from the upper and lower dies 41, 52.
