A device is specified for correction of the setting of an already set electronic projectile time detonator (Z), the measurement base (b) being predetermined by means of two sensors (S1, S2) which are arranged at an axial distance apart in the projectile (round) (G). When the projectile (G) emerges from the muzzle (M) of the weapon barrel (R), the two sensors (S1, S2) produce signal pulses, the time interval between which signal pulses is inversely proportional to the muzzle velocity (v0) of the projectile (G). The running time setting of the time detonator is corrected by means of this measured value (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
