Vehicle hydraulic braking system with drive slip regulation - uses pumped circulation for raising temp. of brake fluid to improve braking response

The braking system has a pump (25) coupled to a suction line (26) and supplying the brake pressure line (10, 11) for at least one of the wheel brakes (6), with a pressure limiting valve (34) for directing the brake fluid from the brake pressure line (10, 11) to the suction line (26). A temp sensor (28) detects the temp of the brake fluid in the suction line (26) to block the brake pressure line (10, 11) from the master braking cylinder (2) and the wheel brakes (6) and switch in the pump (25) below a given temp. threshold. The brake fluid is heated via passage through the pressure limiting valve (34). The pump (25) is swithced out and the brake pressure line (10, 11) released upon reaching a required temp. ADVANTAGE - Improved braking response in drive slip regulation mode.
