PURPOSE:To provide a bathtub eliminating the use a stool or the like in a bathroom, and allowing an old person or the like to easily move therein when taking a bath. CONSTITUTION:An extension section 16 overhanging toward the inside of a bathtub 10 is formed at least at a part of the upper peripheral wall 14 thereof, so that a person taking a bath can move while sitting on the extension section 16. According to this construction, there is no need to provide a stool or the like for use as an aid to taking a bath, and a bathroom can widely be used. |
