The invention relates to a wall structure, of a non-tension-resistant design, which is subjected to lateral surface pressure loading, in particular a horizontally acting ground pressure, and is intended for building constructions, such as houses, terraces, supporting walls, which are erected on a ground slab (1), or other flexurally rigid foundation structures, a reinforced-concrete supporting means (6) forming part of the building construction, being arranged such that it is directed upwards, and comprising individual spaced-apart reinforced-concrete supports (6), - each individual reinforced-concrete support being designed as an extension arm (6), in that it is braced in the flexurally rigid reinforced-concrete foundation structure (1) with the aid of a steel reinforcement (13) drawn through from the reinforced-concrete support (6) into the foundation structure (1), - the reinforced-concrete support (6) being integrated in the wall-structure assembly, and - the height of the reinforced-concrete support (6) being lower than the height of the wall structure. <IMAGE>
