PURPOSE:To perform coordinate transformation of dot data by arbitrary setting and to prevent converted dot data from being made widely different from the image of original dot data. CONSTITUTION:A memory 3 where dot data is preliminarily stored correspondingly to coordinates, a printing mechanism part 6 which performs output based on dot data, a parameter part 1 which outputs a parameter to designate desired coordinate transformation, an incrementer 4 which successively scans the print range to designate coordinates corresponding to this scanning, and an operation and read circuit 2 which obtains coordinates of dot data stored in the memory 3, to which dot data after coordinate transformation to be printed in coordinates designated by the incrementer 4 correspond, based on the parameter and coordinates designated by the incrementer 4 and reads out dot data corresponding to obtained coordinates from the memory 3 and outputs dot data to a data supply part 5 by interpolation with nearby dot data in the case of the absence of dot data corresponding to these coordinates are provided. |
