The door module (10) has a door lock for installing the module into a door. At least one curved wire rod (34) is carried by the door lock and is connected to a handle (44) fastened on the door outer side. At least the section of the door module upon which the door lock is fastened is made of moulded plastics and has a socket (60). The curved wire rod snap fits into the socket to align the rod for an easier insertion in the door. The socket allows a release of the curved wire rod to enable it to be connected to the handle.
