A walk-through passageway (12) is defined by a left-hand floor panel portion (8B) of a floor panel (8), a left side portion (10D) of a cabin cover (10) and a left-hand cover (6C) of an engine cover (6) for allowing a person to walk through a constructio machine in the front and rear direction by passing the left side of an operator's seat (9) (cabin cover (10)) and the engine cover (6). By passing the walk-through passageway (12), a person can walk through an upper revolving structure (2) in the front and rear direction even in a narrow work site.
