PURPOSE: An internal voltage generating circuit is provided to prevent a short current by maintaining a dead zone even though the levels of reference voltages are reversed. CONSTITUTION: A driving signal generating unit(11) generates a first pull-up driving signal and a first pull-down driving signal by comparing an internal voltage with a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage. A driving signal control unit(12) generates a second pull-up driving signal and a second pull-down driving signal by buffering the first pull-up driving signal and the first pull-down driving signal and disables the second pull-up driving signal and the second pull-down driving signal if the first pull-up driving signal and the first pull-down driving signal are enabled. A driving unit(13) drives an internal voltage in response to the second pull-up driving signal and the second pull-down driving signal.
