<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having satisfactory manufacturing and machining capabilities, a long lifetime and high output characteristic and a manufacturing method therefor by enhancing the crystallinity of a solid polyelectrolyte film for use in a solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell for achieving proper and sufficient film strength and film durability while exhibiting favorable electrical resistance which affects cell output characteristics. SOLUTION: The thickness of a film, which is manufactured by fusing EW and a polymer of the precursor of a perfluorocarbon sulfonic acid polymer having a functional group - SO2 F, is managed. Furthermore, the resultant film is annealed for a fixed period, thereby enhancing crystallinity so as to provide satisfactory film strength, satisfactory film durability and low electrical resistance for a perfluorocarbon sulfonic acid resin film which is converted into an acid type after hydrolysis. Consequently, it is possible to achieve superior manufacturing and machining capabilities, a long lifetime and cell characteristics in a solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell having an electrolyte film made of the perfluorocarbon sulfonic acid polymer film.</p> |
