PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel device for a wheelchair for allowing safe, comfortable and easy ascending and descending a large step by installing a plurality of rotating bodies in a supporting body by imparting a difference in level at the lower ends and providing an inclined angle by fitting elastic wheels at the outside of the rotating bodies. SOLUTION: Grooved rotating bodies (1), (2) and (3) and inclined angle changing and elastic wheel reinforcing rotating bodies (4) are installed in the supporting body (6) by imparting a difference in level so that lower ends of the rotating bodies (4) may draw an arch. An elastic wheel (5) is installed at the outside of the rotating bodies (1), (2), (3) and (4), and an upper part of the fitting supporting body (6) is installed in the vicinity of a wheel installation portion of the wheelchair.
