PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic warp knitted fabric causing no fabric strain despite its texture where elastic fibers are inserted without mutual contact. SOLUTION: This elastic warp knitted fabric with elastic fibers inserted thereinto is characterized by satisfying the relationship (1): 1.21>=a/b>=1.05...(1) (wherein a/b is the diameter ratio for the elastic fiber; (a) is the diameter of the original elastic fiber; and (b) is the diameter of the elastic fiber at a part where the elastic fiber is in the most pressed condition in the fabric).
