PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency receiver in a mobile phone terminal that can reduce an insertion loss at a reception band to enhance the cut-off characteristics of transmission power. SOLUTION: The high-frequency receiver consists of 1st and 2nd band division filters 116, 118, that apply band-pass-filtering to a radio frequency(RF) signal with respect to 1st and 2nd reception bands resulting from equally dividing a reception band; a 1st RF switch 114 that selectively applies the received RF signal to either of the 1st and 2nd band division filters; a 2nd RF switch 120 that selects either of two output signals from the 1st and 2nd band division filters; a mixer 108 that converts the signal selected by the 2nd RF switch into an IF signal; and a control section 122 that controls so as to connect the 1st and 2nd RF switches to the band division filter corresponding to the frequency band, to which the received channel belongs in the 1st and 2nd band division filters.
