PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which allows a player to obtain satisfaction and a sense of achievement because of an increased profit depending on the skill of the player, to obtain amusement even if the player is inferior in skill, and to play intriguing games with a feeling of tension. SOLUTION: This game machine (10) comprises a flag setting notifying means (170), a score counting means (144), a score storing means (144), and a profit granting means (160). The flag setting notifying means (170) notifies the player of information on setting of a special prize winning flag. The score counting means (144) counts a score based on the number of games from a game which is played after first notification by the flag setting notifying means (170) to a game in which the player can align prize winning patterns (61) on a predetermined effective prize winning line with the special prize winning flag being set and therefore the prize winning is determined. The score storing means (144) stores the score. The profit granting means (160) grants the profit to the player.
