An error detecting method for a fuel line system of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum gas Injection) vehicle is provided to prevent erroneous detection on errors of an engine management system by turning on a fuel system error if the fuel pressure is maintained at the level lower than a pressure regulator monitoring pressure level over a predetermined time. An error detecting method for a fuel line system of an LPI vehicle, comprises a step(S10) of setting a prerequisite condition for error detection of a fuel line and initial state; a step(S12,S13,S14) of judging whether engine ON state satisfies the prerequisite condition; a step(S16) of checking the temperature reference in each unit associated with fuel; a step(S18) of setting a minimum fuel pressure for monitoring in the pressure regulator; a step(S22) of comparing the fuel pressure in the fuel line and the minimum monitoring fuel pressure of the pressure regulator; a step(S23,S24,S25,S26) of maintaining an error count if the fuel pressure in the fuel line is higher than the minimum monitoring fuel pressure, and increasing an error counter by driving the fuel pump at the highest speed if the fuel pressure is lower than the minimum monitoring fuel pressure; and a step(S27,S28) of generating a warning signal in the fuel line if the error count value is identical with the set maximum value.
