A charger having a function for communicating with a data center having user information is provided to efficiently manage the chargers installed at various places through a wire or wireless communication network. A charger having a function for communicating with a data center having user information includes a charging unit(100), a transmitting unit(200), a receiving unit(300), an inputting unit(400), and a central processing unit(500). The charging unit(100) charges a battery. The transmitting unit(200) transmits the user information to the data center of a mobile communication company, a card company and a charger operator in a wire or wireless manner. The receiving unit(300) receives answers from the data center regarding the accuracy of the information and a member or not. The inputting unit(400) receives the information from a user by a credit card, a membership card and user's direct input. The central processing unit(500) controls the charging unit(100), the transmitting unit(200), the receiving unit(300), and the inputting unit(400).
