PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrant for an open channel that makes a structure of a float and the entire hydrant simple and can realize a secure activation and reduction of a cost.SOLUTION: A hydrant 1 for an open channel comprises feed water stopping means for stopping feed water by detecting a preset water level and bringing a valve body of valve main body part into contact with a valve seat in response only to rising of a float out of rising and falling of the float 20, in which the feed water stopping means stops feed water by utilizing conversion of power that raises the float with rising of a water level into a rotary motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
