<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of a manual operation by viewing a disired position of a display picture, so that a cursor can be moved to the same position. CONSTITUTION:An operator 18 views straight a display picture 12, and watches closely a code ''3'' for indicating ''document printing''. As a result, when the operator 18 views straight the display picture 12, an optical sensor 17 of a position indicating device 15 detects optically a size of the display picture 12. A CPU16 recognizes the whole display picture 12, when a supply of a detecting signal from the optical sensor 17 is received. On the other hand, a pair of sensors 22 of the position indicating device 15 detects what part of the display picture 12 the operator 18 is watching closely. When a supply of a detecting signal from a pair of sensors 22 is received, the CPU16 calculates the operator's watching point on the display picture 12 basing on these signals. Basing on this calculation result, the CPU16 moves a cursor 14 to a position conforming with the watching point of the operator 18.</p> |
