PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoother copying work by restraining the power source turn-off work by a weekly timer on slave machine side during the connected work informing time from the master machine. SOLUTION: As for this method for connected copying of a copying machine network system provided with the connected copying function capable of making plural image forming devices connected so as to be possible to communicate, to let the optional image forming device to be the master machine read the original, to feed the original information and the connection command information with regard to another image forming device becoming the slave machine, and to execute the same copy processing from the same original by plural image forming devices by sharing in parallel, and moreover at least, the slave machine is provided with a weekly timer function capable of turning the main power source on/off in matching with the on/off time being set for each day of the week, when the connection work information is made from the master machine with regard to the slave machine being out of the copying work, the slave machine makes the weekly timer function invalidated, during the time period connection work is informed (step S1401 and step S1402). |
