FIELD: brush production. SUBSTANCE: brush has handle and head connected to handle and made from material subjected to plastic deformation. Head has bristle bundle receiving holes where at least one bristle is fastened by means of many-sided clip. Each clip has grooves in at least one side of it. When clip is used for fastening bristles in respective hole, grooves are positioned transverse to bristle longitudinal axis. Method involves inserting many-sided clips into bristle receiving holes, with length of clips exceeding diameter of holes; orienting clips so that their grooves are extending transverse to longitudinal axis of bristle (bristles) adapted to be fastened within holes. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reliable retaining of bristles in brush holes and prolonged service life. 19 cl, 9 dwg
