<p>1392131 Cultivating plankton; cosmetic product M AUBERT 13 Dec 1972 [15 Dec 1971] 57497/72 Heading A5B A product useful in preparing cosmetics is produced by (a) cultivating a marine plankton, (b) separating the cultured cells from the culture medium, (c) rupturing the cells and (d) subjecting the nucleoplasma to a preservation process. The plankton may be Asterionella Japonica or Chaetoceros teres. The cells may be separated from the culture medium by filtration, centrifuging or dialysis. The nucleoplasma may be freed of thecae and mineral substances. The preservation process may comprise lyophilisation or addition of a preservative. A skin cream may contain lanolin, glycerine, water and the product of the invention.</p> |
