Storage vessel for industrial dust transported by suction air includes an outer receiving container with a rigid wall. In the receiving container is suspended a bag or sack of a plastic foil or a similar flexible material. The inner space of the outer receiving container is subjected to a vacuum which acts on the outer surface of the suspended bag. The vacuum is taken from the suction air transporting the goods. The receiving container is provided with an outlet and an inlet connection for the suction air and with a removable cover which is also enclosing the suspended bag. The suction air connection (4) is connected with the inside of the receiving container through a hole in its wall (1) positioned near the container bottom.
