PURPOSE:To form waveforms of high accuracy of time axis and less quantization noises through the use of a waveform memory of a small memory size by providing the waveform memory which on receiving of an address signal outputs the continuos waveform amplitude value through time sharing. CONSTITUTION:From a waveform memory 12, the waveform amplitude value PI + 2 having been stored in its 1st + 2 address is read out. A counter 21 changes its count value K and outputs it as an address signal to the second input terminal B of a coefficient memory 22. Hence, the coefficient memory 22 outputs the 3rd coefficient value. A multiplier 13 multiplies the waveform amplitude value outputted from the waveform memory 12 and the coefficient value outputted from the coefficient memory 22 and outputs a waveform signal. An accumulator 14 accumulates this waveform signal and a latch circuit 15 latches and outputs the waveform signal outputted by the accumulator 5. After this waveform signal is multiplied by an envelope waveform EV, it is sounded from a sound system 7.
