PURPOSE:To enhance fixing power of color to a recording medium by setting the recording image charging frequency per single nozzle lower than that of other nozzle group for recording of a predetermined region. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 secured to the carriage in a recorder performs first time scanning in main scanning direction and records only black data corresponding to positions designated by white circles in recording region. The recording head 1 and a paper 2 are then shifted relatively in Y direction and second time scanning is performed in main scanning direction. K data are recorded at positions represented by black circles in the recording region whereas YMC data are recorded in region A having width half that of the recording region. In other words, first nozzle to twelfth nozzles are used entirely for second time K. Black circle positions in region A form a pattern complementary to the white circle positions where black color is recorded during first time scanning. |
