Polyurethanes are stabilized against yellowing by incorporating a phenolic type compound represented by the general formula (I) <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 represents a C1-C3 alkyl group and at least one member selected from a benzotriazole type light stabilizer and a hindered amine type stabilizer.
