PURPOSE:To compensate for reactive power quickly to be regulated and reset the voltage of the whole body of a line by switching an active power controlling priority means to a reactive power controlling priority means with a change-over means, when the state of a load is suddenly changed in the increasing direction. CONSTITUTION:When a load is suddenly changed in the increasing direction beyond a forecast fluctuation range on line practical-use, and voltage is lowered over the whole body of a line, then by a comparator 14, it is judged that a line voltage level is lower than a set level, and by a switch 12, the side of an active power controlling priority controlling section 11 is switched to the side of a reactive power controlling priority controlling section 13. After that, when line voltage is recovered and the line voltage level is higher than the set level, then by change-over signal from the comparator 14, the switch 12 is switched to the side of the original active power controlling priority controlling section 11, and a self-excited type power converter 2 is controlled. |
