VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE FOR DOLLY LOAD-CARRYING PLATFORM

PURPOSE:To conduct vibration damping of a load-carrying platform by providing an elastic hinge member in which a combined spring constant in the vertical, horizontal and fore and aft directions at one end of the load-carrying platform in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A dolly is constituted of an under carriage 54 and a load- carrying platform 56 tiltably connected onto the under carriage 54 at one end in the longitudinal direction or one side in the width direction of the under carriage 54. A vibration buffer device is constituted of an elastic hinge member 10 consisting mainly of a rubber push 15 that a combined spring constant in the vertical, horizontal and fore and aft directions for tiltably connecting the under carriage 54 to one end in the longitudinal direction or one side in the width direction of the platform 56 can be changed, and an elastic supporting member 30 consisting mainly of a foam urethane spring 31 for supporting the neighborhood of the other end to the under carriage 54. Thus, spring characteristics are made non-linear, and change in the ground clearance from empty to loaded can be made practically the minimum.
