<p>PURPOSE:To exactly polish a desired part to be polished by coating the non- polishing part of a technical prosthetic appliance with a thermoplastic resin and curing the resin, then mechanically polishing the technical prosthetic appliance. CONSTITUTION:The margin part 1a of a crown 1 is coated with the thermoplastic resin 3 heated and melted by a melting device 2 and is then cured by cooling. This dental prosthesis 10 is put into a mechanical polishing device and is polished for a prescribed period of time. The cured thermoplastic resin 3 is cooled and is easily removed from the dental prosthesis when the cured thermoplastic resin 3 is reheated by using a torch, etc. Only the desired part to be polished of the dental prosthesis 10 is polished.</p> |
