DATA COPYRIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To protect the copyright of a data author and to charge the use of the copyright by keeping a key by a key administration center irrelevantly to whether or not the key is actually used and administering the key so that the key is made correspond to a copyright label. CONSTITUTION: Copyrighted data provided by respective information providers 5 and 6 are ciphered. A user 3 who obtains the ciphered copyrighted data needs to decipher the ciphered copyrighted data to use them. For the purpose, deciphering keys are all kept in the key administration center 2, which administers them. The key administration center 2 stores the keys irrelevantly to whether they are used or merely kept, and makes the kept keys correspond to copyright labels, thereby administering the keys. Consequently, the copyright of data authors can be protected and the use of the copyright can be charged.
