PURPOSE: To relax the congestion of automobiles when they enter or exit from a parking lot by allowing the payment of a parking charge at the time of entrance. CONSTITUTION: A ticket reader 12, a vehicle detection sensor 7, and a gate driving part 13 is connected to a control part 11 which controls the whole operation of a vehicle entry gate part. Then the ticket reader 12 is connected to a ticket insertion slot to read information (e.g. the start time and end time of a concert) out of an inserted ticket. The gate driving part 13 rotates a gate bar. Further, a ticket issue part 14, a cash processing part 15, and a display part 6 are connected to the control part 11. The ticket issue part 14 issues a parking ticket and is connected to a parking ticket issue opening to record entrance time on the parking ticket when issuing the ticket, and the cash processing part 15 is connected to a charge throw-in opening and processes the parking charge. At an exiting gate part, the gate driving part lifts the gate bar when the completion of the reception of the charge is recorded on the parking ticket to allow the automobile to pass through the gate part. |
