PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect boards facing opposite to each other and allow ground contacts to be grounded appropriately by providing at least one of first and second contacts making contact with each other, with a shielding plate making contact with the first or second contact. SOLUTION: Ground contacts 134 formed of S-shape spring parts are fitted to both sides of a center wall in a housing 132 to constitute a receptacle connector 130. This receptacle connector 130 is mounted on a board through tine parts of base parts of the earth contacts 134. A plug connector 150 with plate- like ground contacts 154 fitted along the inside of both side walls of the housing 132 is mounted to a board 14 through tine parts 154a, and shielding plates connected to the ground contacts 154 through tongue pieces S2 are provided along both side faces 158 of the sidewalls. Both of these connectors are fitted to each other to which are dimples 174 for contact pieces S1 of the shielding plates into contact with the ground contacts 134, thus connecting both boards to each other. |
