<p>The invention relates to a pallet including a load bearing surface (2) supported by rails (3, 4), to allow a pallet moving vehicle to enter its tines beneath the load bearing surface to elevate the pallet and any load supported thereon, said pallet including recesses (7) in the load bearing surface to allow the tines of a pallet moving vehicle entered into said recesses to elevate the load from the pallet.
