PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic capacitor, capable of preventing cracks in the ceramic capacitor element. SOLUTION: A ceramic capacitor element 1 has terminal electrodes 11 and 12 with its each facing opposite end face. One end of metal terminals 2 and 3 are respectively connected to the terminal electrode 11 and 12. For the ceramic capacitor element 1, the average coefficient of linear expansion in the temperature range of 25 deg.C to -55 deg.C is assumed to beα1, that in 25 deg.C to 125 deg.C asα2 , and that of the metal terminal 2 and 3 in -55 deg.C to 125 deg.C asβ, and the inequalitiesβ<1.3α2 andβ>0.7α1 are satisfied.
