The support for sheets of glass comprises two cardboard inclined planes (10,12) connected at their top edge (14) so as to form an isosceles triangle. The plates rest against the inclined planes and are supported by two horizontal walkways at the base of the planes. Two support legs (20,22,24) fixed under the walkways have a sufficient thickness to allow the forks of a fork lift truck to be introduced.
