TILT COMPENSATION FOR RASTER IMAGE TRANSFER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor detecting a tilt and compensating it when a fed medium is tilted in an image transfer device such as a scanner or a printer and to provide a processing method. SOLUTION: The tilt of the medium fed by a feeder is detected and the position of image data stored in a buffer memory is corrected in accordance with the tilt so as to obtain a correct (upright) image concerning the medium.
