PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion shaft for vehicle steering for enabling stable sliding motion by an easy and inexpensive method. SOLUTION: A steering shaft 5 and an intermediate shaft 8 are formed as a structure of the expansion shaft of fitting a male shaft and a female shaft for freely sliding in the axial direction so that torque can be transmitted. A resin coating film by shot blasting using resin powder is formed on the surface of the male shaft 5a of the steering shaft 5 and the male shaft 8a of the intermediate shaft 8. Thus, the resin coating film superior in adhesion and superior in the film thickness and surface roughness accuracy can be easily and inexpensively formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
