<p>The method involves providing one computer program, which simulates the gas production in an airbag including the gas leakage from a nozzle (12) in a predetermined area (14) and providing information about gas density or gas speed in the predetermined area, which are writable partially or preprocessed in a data file by the computer program. Another computer program simulates the development of the airbags and provides information about the dimensions of a variable area defined by the development of the airbag and about gas density or gas speed in the variable area.
