<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storage system absorbing a volume change of a latent heat storage material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This latent heat storage system 1 includes: a trigger spring member 2; the latent heat storage material 3; and a case 6 having a case body 4 fluid-tightly partitioning a storage chamber 7 storing the trigger spring member 2 and the latent heat storage material 3 and hardly deformed according to the volume change of the latent heat storage material 3, and a volume change absorbing device 5 having a movable wall 500 for changing a volume of the storage chamber 7 by being moved according to the volume change of the latent heat storage material 3 in order to compensate a portion with the case body 4 hardly deformed. The trigger spring member 2 is deformed, the supercool state of the latent heat storage material 3 is canceled, and the warmup of an engine 91 is promoted by latent heat released from the latent heat storage material 3.
