摘要 A novel catalytic compsn. (I) consists of at least one tungsten or molybdenum cpd. (II) at least partially dissolved in a non-aq. ionic medium (III) obtd. by contacting: (A) at least one aluminium halide; (B) at least one quat. ammonium and/or phosphonium halide; and (C) at least one organo-aluminium cpd. Also claimed is a process for (co)disproportionation of at least one olefin (IV) by contacting (IV) with (I). (II) is of formula (II'): Q(X)6-x(OAr)x (II'), where Q = W or Mo; X = Cl or Br; Ar = aromatic gp. contg. at least 2 hydrocarbon substituents in the ortho, ortho'-positions; and x = 1 or 2. (A) is AlCl3 or AlBr3. (B) is N-butylpyridinium chloride, ethylpyridinium bromide, 3-butyl-1-methylimidazolium chloride, diethylpyrazolium chloride, pyridinium hydrochloride, trimethylphenylammonium chloride or tetrabutylphosphonium chloride. (C) is of formula (C'): Al(R)n(X)3-n (C'), where R = 2-8C alkyl and n = 1-3. (C) is esp. EtAlCl2, i-BuAlCl2, Et2AlCl, ethylaluminium sesquichloride or isobutylaluminium sesquichloride. Molar ratio (A):(B) is 1:0.5-3 (pref. 1:0.8-2) and molar ratio (B):(C) is 1:0.01-1.5 (pref. 1:0.1-1). Disproportionation of (IV) is carried out at -40 to +70 (pref. -20 to +30) degrees C and 0.1-20 MPa.
