The present invention relates to a wig for covering 80 percent or 90 percent of a head and a method for manufacturing the same. The wig includes a wig net surrounding the head of a wearer and wig hair on the wig net. A nape part of the wig net has a cut form, the wig net is formed of a UV-blocking fiber, a UV-blocking coating layer is applied to the wig net, the wig net has a horizontal line leading from a side corner point to an ear point, and the horizontal width from the side corner point to an ear back point is smaller than the vertical width from the ear point to the ear back point. Accordingly, the wig net covers 80 percent or 90 percent of the head instead of covering the entire head, and thus the nape part of the wig net is not hung or does not float from a neck part of a coat or a scarf even when the wearer wears the coat in winter or wears the scarf in autumn. Therefore, no discomfort is caused even when the wearer wears the wig according to the present invention for an extended period of time. In addition, the wig net according to the present invention is formed of the UV-blocking fiber and the circumference thereof is coated with a UV-blocking material, and thus UV blocking from sunlight can be reliably performed in summer. Therefore, scalp can be maintained fresh and the health of the scalp can be improved. |
