PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with high volume energy density, excellent in high-rate performance, and low-temperature performance, and high safety. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has an electrode group prepared by stacking a positive electrode plate 4, a separator 5 made of a polyolefin microporous film, and a negative electrode plate 3, then winding them, and the thickness of the positive electrode plate 4 and the negative electrode plate 3 is limited to 0.1 mm or more but 0.3 mm or less, and 10-30 vol% ethylene carbonate and 50-90 vol% methyl ethyl carbonate are contained as the solvent of an electrolyte. |
