PURPOSE:To enable a quick printing with a simple construction by setting the energization time for a heat generating resistor when the saw-tooth wave based on a clock pulse coincides in the level with a detection signal based on the temperature near the heat generating resistor. CONSTITUTION:A counter for counting a clock pulse from a clock pulse generator 1 is incorporated into a control circuit 2 for controlling the action of a heat generating resistor 3 and a paper feed driving motor 4 while a circuit 7 is added to generate a saw-tooth wave simultaneously with the counting thereof. In addition, an element 6 is provided near the heat generating resistor 3 to detect the temperature. Then, a comparator 8 compares the saw-tooth wave with a signal with the level corresponding to the temperature detected to set the energization time based on counts of a counter 2' when both the levels coincide while the counting operation starting time of the counter 2' is set in relation with a series of actions of the control circuit 2. |
