PURPOSE:To realize the effect of economizing energy by providing a toric coil holding part which is rotatable, rotating and moving the optional coil among plural coils arranged in a circular shape in said part to an ejection port and feeding out the coil. CONSTITUTION:A toric carriage 20 as a coil holding part is placed, via wheels 21, on a rail 19 which is laid in a circular shape. The carriage 20 is connected, via a beam 24, to a swiveling central shaft 23 rotated by a motor 22 and swivels on the rail 19 upon running of the motor 22. A V-shaped receiving base 26 which supports a billet coil 18 is provided in the upper part of the carriage 20 and the upper part of the carriage 20 is covered by a toric heat holding wall 27. A feed port and ejection port for the coil 18 is provided to said wall. The carriage 20 is thereupon swiveled, and the coil 18 to be supplied to a tandem finishing mill 4 is selected and is ejected from the ejection port. The base 26 on which no coil 18 is placed is swiveled to the coil feed port side and the fresh coil 18 is placed thereon through the feed port. |
