PURPOSE:To heat the low temperature state in a printer inexpensively by a simple method by using as a heater the coil section of a motor. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature sensor 7 detects a preset temperature, it feeds its detection signal to a controller 6. The controller 6 switches a converter 63 to a clock oscillator 62 side. A clock signal output from the oscillator 62 is a clock signal of simple phase and does not apply a rotary torque to a rotor in a pulse motor 31. The output clock from the oscillator 62 is applied to the coil of the motor 31, for example, for approx. 30min so that the controller 6 controls the coils of the motor 31 as a heat generator by utilizing the heat generated from the coil. |
