This invention discloses a peeler for melon or fruit working manually or electrically. Its principle of operation is that two bowl-shaped press jaws can clip two end faces of the melon or fruit while rotating around the horizontal axle under the drive of a motor, and a blade on a floating holder is elastically closed to the surface of the melon or fruit while rotating around the vertical axle from right to left under the synchro drive of the motor. The relative movement formed by the jaws and blade is the spiral locus of even peeling. The peeler of this invention can easily load or unload the melon or fruit, and evenly peel the melon or fruit in different shapes sanitarily.
