PURPOSE: A feature set extending system and a method thereof are provided to supply information about a research subject or technology secured from different kinds of literature by using a number of and different kinds of literature. CONSTITUTION: A literature database(100) stores literature. A technology relation dictionary(300) defines technologies and technologies related to the technologies. A feature set extending device(200) analyzes literature of the literature database to generate a feature set of research subjects by technologies and a feature set of the related technologies in the technology relation dictionary. The feature set extending device combines individual features to extend a feature set by technologies and research subjects. The literature database stores theses, patents, learning data, standards, numeric data, news, and advertisements provided from portal sites.
