The invention relates to a waste air device which is intended especially for large-scale catering installations or equivalent. Belonging to the waste air device 10 are an outer casing 11, an outlet chamber 12 having at least one suction opening or grease filter unit 13, a collecting chamber 25 for gaseous impurities and a blow chamber 18. Blow openings 20 in the blow chamber of the waste air device are arranged to deliver a blow jet, which induces a secondary air jet which is arranged to act wholly in a close-range region. Above the blow openings 20 of the blow chamber 18 there is disposed a guide plate 21, which is arranged to direct the blow jet 31 towards the grease filter 13 in such a way that the most effective possible blow jet output pulse is produced, which is arranged substantially to expire before it reaches the grease filter 13. <IMAGE> |
