The signal processing circuit is in the form of signal processing stages (10,110). The latter are controlled in such a way that, from a predefined time point, one or more of the signal processing stages operates in normal operation mode. Upto predefined time points, at least one of the signal processing stages is being balanced. The signal processing circuit may be in the form of a multiplier or amplifier containing the corresponding signal processing stages. USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly for amplifier for CD player. Allows balancing without interfering with normal operation.
