mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shaving system relates to safety razor. Razor blade is provided with circular cutting edge formed on surface intended for movement in multiple directions in shaving zone. Shaving system has base member which includes casing construction provided with arc-shaped fitting surface facing upwards, and blade which contains sheet of metal foil of 0.10 mm thick, having arc-shaped flat surface with many holes made in it. Perimeter of every hole forms cutting edge. Cutting edges are positioned on surface located above arc-shaped flat surface of sheet. Blade is positioned on fitting surface of casing construction facing upwards. Plastic coating material is sprayed on foil sheet heated up to temperature of 315.5-371 C to ensure coating adhesion to blade. Then sheet is formed in cold state to obtain arc-shaped surface in longitudinal direction with holes arranged in it and surface lying around sheet periphery which is shifted relative to arc-shaped surface.
