The lamp has a holder (11) fitted at the end of a mast (10), supporting an electrical unit (12) and a transparent lamp housing (30) enclosing the light source (15). The lamp housing is secured to the holder via a telescopic system (18) allowing it to slide in the direction of its longitudinal axis into a raised maintenance position.
